Fifteen films, made in three years, each one produced by an NPA fellow, working alongside directors and writers from across the industry. These are the stories our producers chose to tell: stories of migration, identity, family, and the search for belonging, brought to life through the NPA fellowship, and recognized at festivals near and far. Our Impact in Film
Some things worth knowing about us:
→ The Netherlands Film Fund officially names us in their 2025–2028 policy plan as one of two initiatives building a more inclusive film industry. That's not an accident.
→ Complete the NPA fellowship and you're eligible for the NPO Fictiefilm Campus, Filmfonds Shorts and Caleidoscoop. Because the endgame is a producer's credit.
→ We're a founding partner of Scope, Talenthub Zuid-Holland, the film talent network for the whole of Zuid-Holland.
→ We're rooted in Rotterdam, with partners and community built here. Our fellows come from across the Kingdom. The gaps we identify and respond to are too.
→ We're building Animate Reality with Playgrounds because the next generation of animation producers needed a training home. That's us now.
→ We're building New Producers Curaçao because Caribbean filmmakers deserve a direct route into the Dutch market. Not a detour.
→ Our producers make real films, with real funding. From communities the industry kept overlooking.
→ The Dutch audiovisual sector nominated us; 25 projects were put forward from across the industry. The CFAP jury chose New Producers Academy as best audiovisual project.
